Berey Zita - Supervisor-Coach, HR expert

I started as a leader, not as a therapist. For thirteen years I worked in sales and management, then for two years on the board of Medicover. I know the weight of leadership decisions, the responsibility and the subtleties of team dynamics from the inside.

The professional shift began around 2005. After the HR & MANAGER Service leadership development programme came the ICF Advanced coach training, then the Károli Gáspár Reformed University Supervisor programme. From there I deepened the classic business coaching with interprofessional supervision and increasingly clinical training.

The last decade brought the emotionally focused approach, first Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Core Skills (2019), then the HMT „Hold Me Tight" trainer programme, and this year EFIT 1 & 2 Level. From there couples therapy and mental health counselling have become integral to my work.

Today I am chair of the Supervisor-Coach section of the Hungarian Association of Supervisors and Supervisor-Coaches, and vice-president of the Hungarian Federation of Coaching Organisations. I teach at Károli Gáspár Reformed University and the VIKOTE Cognitive Business & Life Coach programme.

I believe the leadership context and the private context are not opposites, the same person makes decisions, connects, and gets lost in both. My work is to hold a safe and effective space for thinking it through.
